Magazine Cover (peer review)
The magazine cover that I looked at is called Bijou. I believe that Jackie Vargas took it. I really liked the pose of the model, and the placement of the title. In my opinion, It might've looked better, or more professional, if the picture was in black and white. I picked this cover because I love up close portraits. There is a barcode. I think the placement/font of the title makes it look like a magazine, but the barcode definitely helps. I honestly can't tell if this is the portrait or self-portrait, but if I would have to guess, I'd say portrait?

My favorite photo from her blog is the "The End" photo because it was very creative, and cute, and all around interesting to look at. I guess I would say that my least favorite photo of hers is the "Yummy" one, only because I think it could've been taken at a different angle, but other than that I really enjoyed her pictures (as well as the rest of her blog, seems we have similar interests). Overall, I like her photography style and the way she handles prompt shoots. I guess something she could work on is capturing the moment at an interesting angle, but really it's not that big of a deal. She did the best at portraying the "The End" prompt, in my opinion. The prompt that she portrayed the least successfully is the "Pose" one, only because of the angle. Maybe if it was taken from the side profile? But, like I said, still loved them all!

Great Portraits
This website is all about the different types of portraits and how many different ways you can take a picture of someone. I learned that it's sometimes okay to break the rules of photography.
I'm not able to save any of the pictures but i really liked the one of the close-up portrait of the lady. In this one i see simplicity, and rule of thirds.
Photos everyone should know how to make
This website is basically a list of cool tricks in photography that everyone should know how to do. It names a trick and then describes how to do it.
I learned how to make a 360 panorama, which did not know how to do before.
This is my favorite photo from this website. picked this photo because I love the idea of combining two photos together. I see point of view, and simplicity in this photo. Brian Tomlinson took this photo.

2014
My favorite song:
Robbers - The 1975
This is my favorite song because it holds a lot of importance to me, and I saw them live twice this year so it's a really good memory. They are my favorite band right now, and this song is their best one and means a lot to me.
My favorite movie:
Palo Alto
This is my favorite movie of 2014 because I loved the cast and the storyline. I also really enjoyed the soundtrack. This movie is about the truth of high school in California, and how it's not what everyone glorifies it up to be. The director of this movie is my favorite person, and I look up to her immensely. This movie is based off of a book that James Franco wrote.
Most important news story of 2014:
Ferguson
This was the most important news story of 2014 because it made people realize the importance of equality how much we lack it. I think this story is horribly wrong and more people need to realize just how messed up our system is.
Most important person of 2014:
Harry Styles
The most important person of 2014 (to me) is Harry Styles for many different reasons, but for me, he has always held importance and he is one of the kindest celebrities right now.
The best thing in entertainment of 2014:

The release and then unrelease of the James Franco and Seth Rogen movie, The Interview. I just think this is funny.
Best 2014 Photos
I loved this one because I really liked how she was looking directly at the camera even in the midst of what was happening.
I loved this one because I love Lorde so much. She's one of my favorite artists.
I loved this one because of the colors and the style/architecture of the houses.
